Why Do I Write?

As I sit at my laptop, Stretching my legs, Staring at the glowing screen, I can't help but wonder: Why do I write? Out of all the things I could be doing, Why did I choose writing? Why do I spend so many hours, Typing something I plan on deleting ten minutes later. I write a thousand words. I delete a thousand words, And I add a sentence. One sentence. HELLO!  I decided to speak again because I wanted to save some stories for after I got my timetable and met my homeroom class (maybe I'll like my homeroom class more once I meet the people who I don't know well). The Wanting and The Not Wanting

HELLO!  I'm now 15k through my novel, and didn't write at all yesterday for these reasons: 1) I chose watching YouTube and playing Overwatch the whole day over writing. 2) The time I decide to write, the rest of my family pour into the house, and my mom started fussing over a phishing email about Netflix overcharging.  I couldn't write, so I did the next best thing, and bought a book (More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera) and started it last night and finished it this morning.
